Mixed Feelings on These 4-Inch HiFi Car Speakers - strongzone

I recently picked up the 2pcs (2X280W) 560W Premium 4-Inch HiFi Car Speakers - HD Audio, 4.0 Surround, App Control, Universal Flush Mount, hoping for a noticeable audio upgrade in my ride. Installation was straightforward enough, and I was eager to test out the promised HD Audio capabilities and the 4.0 Surround setup. I was looking forward to using the App Control feature too, which seemed like a modern touch for fine-tuning the sound profile.

My experience with these speakers has been quite polarized, to be honest. On the one hand, some other buyers seem to feel similarly, noting that they are using them well, and one even called the quality 'Excellent.' However, I found myself frequently disappointed when trying to crank up the volume. Several users reported similar issues; for instance, I experienced the sound being quite weak and quiet, lacking any substantial bass whatsoever.

It’s frustrating when the performance doesn't match the high wattage listed on the box.

It appears there is a significant discrepancy between the marketing power ratings and the actual output. I noticed that some reviewers pointed out that the nominal power seemed closer to 5W, with a maximum around 50W, which certainly aligns with the weak performance I detected. I even experienced some notable distortion when pushing the volume envelope, suggesting these speakers struggle significantly under load.

While the universal flush mount design is convenient, the core audio delivery from this set of 4-inch speakers just didn't impress me.

If you are looking for a replacement speaker where absolute volume and deep bass response are not critical—perhaps just for very light background music at low volumes—you might find these acceptable, especially if you prefer the ease of the App Control. Other buyers noted they were 'using it well,' so context matters here.

Ultimately, if you are an audiophile expecting premium, powerful output capable of filling a car cabin, I would advise looking elsewhere. For a budget, low-power application, maybe they work, but based on my testing, these 4-Inch HiFi Car Speakers are definitely weak performers in terms of raw power.
